Our obligations to maintain the privacy of any information you share with us on this website is very important and we have data handling protocols in place to ensure that we meet these requirements.

Privacy Statement

We may collect personal information from you, including information about your name, contact information and interactions with us.

 

We collect your personal information in order to be able to maintain contact with you and to be able to manage your use of our website.

 

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter contact information, we will be unable to provide access to the restricted parts of our website.

 

We keep your information safe by storing it in a secure location and managing it as required by our research ethics approval, including restricting who has access to it.  We keep your information for at least five years at which point we securely destroy any personal information, such as contact details and audio or video tapes after they have been transcribed, by erasing all digital files and destroying all physical files.  Anonymised data that is derived from the research will, in most cases, be kept for much longer or possibly indefinitely.
